Best priced diner in the area and the food is great? That's as good as it gets! The Chicken Caesar Wrap is served cool, with warm chicken, and has just the right amount of dressing. The Greek Chicken Lemon Soup was delicious, though I could see how some may consider it slightly salty. BLT had a generous portion of all three consituents. They have a sauteed vegetable mix available in the sides section which may not be much to look at, but tastes delicious; it is sauteed in a garlicky olive oil and well worth it. The coffee is of appropriate intensity. The waitress was always available and always friendly. The cashier was a pleasure when walking in and at time of payment. The booths are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. I really enjoyed my experience with Townhouse Diner and would return in a heartbeat!

Nice little traditional New York diner; independent, friendly, family-run joint. The food is hearty and prepared well.It's been owned by two Greek brothers for ~30 years, so the Greek options on the (very broad) menu are solid. The baklava is also well worth trying.

Best dinner in Manhattan and the service he great. Order the avocado mash with egg on rye. Delicious!

Stopped in for breakfast. They had the best coffee around. The employees were super nice, and my bacon and eggs were just fantastic. I have a famous diner just down the road from me up in Roscoe NY and this little diner just blows them away.

What a great little spot. The portions are huge. Service is classic NYC diner with friendly and attentive service. Breakfast early in the morning is my choice of meal here. Get a frittata and you won’t be hungry until dinner.

Quick lunch good service

My wife and I ate at Townhouse Diner every morning while in NY for vacation. We loved the service, the food was outstanding, and the price cannot be beat. I look forward to eating there again when I go back to NY.

Frozen hamburgers, bland taste, frozen fries.Food came out too quick, which is questionable when it comes to freshness. Diner is very old, but it’s kind of cute.If you order something, use ketchup, Parmesan or salt to give it some flavor. Had a dirty fork.Used canned soups.Price is outrageous compared to the food quality and contents. ($18 for a plate of Pasta with Alfredo Sauce) Pasta and a huge can of Alfredo costs about $5 together... service is a bit forced, rough approach, relax a little.

They have avocado smash on toast with poached eggs and grilled tomatoes. It's heaven in a very new York diner. Service is exceptional. They have almond milk for coffee!
